What's TOSEL?
TOSEL(Test of Skills in the English Language) was developed to meet the demand for a more effective assessment of English as a foreign language for learners from specific cultural settings.
TOSEL evaluates and certifies the proficiency levels of English learners, from the age of 4 through adulthood, along with academic and job performance results.

TOSEL Worldwide
TOSEL was first administered in indonesia (population: 25 million), Vietnam (population: 9.3 million) and Philippines (17 million) at the most prestigious national universities in August and September 2014. Since its first launch, it has been constantly expanding.

TOSEL International Advisory Committee

The TOSEL Committee is led by professors at the Korea University and faculty members from other top universities worldwide who are specialized in English education and language testing.

Among these members are English experts who have extensive experience in developing college entrance examinations and English tests, authorized by the Korea Association of Foreign Language Education, the Korean Society of Speech Science, the Pan-Korea English Teachers Association, and the Applied Linguistics Association of Korea.

Currently, the TOSEL Advisory Board consists of experts and scholars from 11 countries in the English education and language assessment.
